Greetings, it is I Kuthumi,
Let us carry on the teaching I began last month. It is essential that you have continual information as you navigate your transformational journey. Changes cannot occur if you do not have adequate knowledge about how to proceed or how to create the permanent change that you desire. Consistent guidance is necessary. We Ascended Masters and Archangels are devoted to helping all humans. We are committed to providing this guidance each month.
This month we wish to tell you what is needed for you to progress on your path of transformation. There are five things that you must be aware of as you travel your transformational path.
- Be willing to look at what is standing in your way.
- Be honest with yourself.
- Stay out of self-judgment.
- Cultivate love and respect for yourself.
- Develop the self-discipline to set aside quiet, reflective time each day.
In April, I discussed some things that could stand in your way. This month I will give you some information about self-judgment and how to cultivate love and respect for yourself.
Let us first look at self-judgment and what is the root cause of it. There are many complexities to this repeated reaction that some of you choose. Many of you do not select this response consciously. The first step is to make your response to any event or situation consciously. What is the root cause? It may be as simple as an old program that you received at an early age. It could also be related to a genetic lineage pattern.
Often, judgments stem from a parent or teacher, who corrected your behavior by telling you that you were terrible or unworthy. You were told that you had to measure up to others expectations or suffer the consequence. As an adult, you continued to hear the voice of demeaning decrees and perceive the voice to be yours, when in fact it is not yours at all. You remember what was said. You hear, “I told you so, you will never measure up or succeed.” As you remember these instructions, you become more severe in your self-judgment.
When you make these judgments conscious, you can let go of what belongs to another. You can clear the judgments that you created and keep the patterns that are useful to your transformation. Examine the genetic lineage patterns of parents, grandparents, even aunts, and uncles. Determine which ones better represent your current state of awareness. Leave the others where they belong; with the misaligned patterns of a lineage.
The state of your ego is something for you to consider. In the 3rd dimension, the ego is in a fallen state of consciousness. Its primary purpose is to protect the human body. The ego is not in charge of your spiritual transformation. However, in a fallen state, the ego tries to protect you from what it does not understand. When you are more conscious, you discern the presence of the ego and when it is out of alignment with its sole purpose. It is up to you to disregard this influence and teach the ego to take its rightful place in your life.
Listen when the ego tells you that you are in physical danger. Examples are: a truck or bus is coming, stay on the sidewalk. There is a storm coming. Take shelter. The ego warns you when the environment is unsafe. It tells you that you need to eat because your body needs nutrition or that you might be hungry. These are examples of when the ego is doing its job, and you should pay attention to it
Your ego always makes judgments to make you feel better about yourself by puffing itself up. Labels are essential to the ego. It is essential for the ego to make known all of your credentials and achievements. Damage occurs in the ego when there is harsh treatment or abuse; it exhibits a different face. It demonstrates that it is unworthy, incapable or incompetent. These are the times when you must be aware that the ego is operating from a fallen state and is out of alignment with its only job. Pay attention. This is an opportunity to make some changes in your thoughts and emotions that are making you feel insecure.
Change can only occur when you are conscious. It is important to be open, and honest with yourself when examining root causes of unconscious choices and behavior. You must be willing to look at what is surfacing without any self-judgement. A good response is; “Oh, I see that pattern. I can make a different choice now.” Approach this information as an opening for change and transformation. It most certainly is not as a signal that you are less than or incapable. You have heard us say on numerous occasions that the Source of your being does not create anything that is not in its perfected image.
The next step for you is to cultivate self-love and respect. If you are unable yet to look in the mirror and say to yourself, “I love myself. I love what the Prime Creator has created in me.” Most humans are not able to do this with honesty and meaning. Start with compassion. Have compassion for yourself and the journey you are experiencing in this life. It is challenging and dense. Not only that, but you have forgotten a significant portion of who you are. Now is a time of renewal of your spirit. Be kind to yourself. Be considerate and recognize what you need in order to transform your life experience.
Compassion is the beginning stage of creating self-love. Develop self-respect. Review often the significant changes that you have made. Recognize how much more conscious and perceptive you are. Notice when you do not allow others to dictate to you who you are or what you need because you realize that it is only their opinion. It had nothing to do with you.
Rest often. Allow yourself some quiet time to reflect, nurture yourself and communicate with your Divine presence. Receive the love that is continually given to all humans, regardless of any negative choices that you may have made. The constant flow of Divine Love sustains you and helps you to make the necessary changes that will propel you on your road to transformation.
Get acquainted with yourself. Clear anything that does not represent your divinity. Gather it up and send it to the Violet Flame to burn away. You are always forgiven. The key to complete clearing of negative thoughts and emotions is self-forgiveness. In reality, there is nothing truly to forgive from the Divine Realms because this is the realm where all is perfect, especially you at a spirit level. When you are under the illusions of 3rd-dimensional polarized thinking and emotional responses, all you can see is your separation from the Source of your being as well as from all humans. It is up to you to forgive the errors you made in your unconscious state. Awareness is your new state of being.
You are called upon now to create a new state of consciousness. A state of being that is capable and confident and full of compassion. Know that you have free will and have the opportunity to choose your state of consciousness. It takes great courage and tenacity to walk the path that you now walk. Look at the changes that you have made. Document them and review them often. Be in gratitude for the opportunities that are before you. Most of all cultivate love, compassion, and respect for yourself.
